  ACE's Global Adventures!

  

  ACE the Fox helps us communicate and reinforce the importance of good nutrition and exercise to our elementary school students throughout the 2023-2024 school year. One day each month, we offer an ACE prize to every child who eats breakfast that day. Be sure to watch the menu calendar to see when ACE Day is each month!

  Taste it Tuesday

  "Taste it Tuesday" is a fun monthly promotion in which students are encouraged to try new fruits and veggies.

  We also celebrate holidays throughout the year, including Halloween, Thanksgiving, Valentine's Day, Read Across America, Astros Opening Day, and many more!

  During FUEL Week each month, we introduce a new recipe to students to see if they approve.

   

  The 2023-2024 FUEL recipes are centered around monthly themes or holidays.  

   

  September:  Chipotle Cheesy Bean Nachos

  October:  Egg Roll in a Bowl

  November:  Spicy Tzatziki Beef Gyro

  December:  Hot Honey Chicken Biscuit Tostada
