    Graduation Ceremonies at Lee College Sports Arena

    The GCCISD graduation ceremony for Stuart Career Tech High School will be held at 4:30 p.m. and IMPACT Early College High School at 7:30 p.m. on  June 10, 2021 in the Lee College Sports Arena located at 200 Lee Drive in Baytown, Texas.

     

    Loved ones who are unable to attend the ceremony will be able to watch the graduation ceremony live via the Web.

     

    Goose Creek CISD will have live video footage of the graduation ceremony available at www.gccisd.net.

    In late April, graduating seniors will receive a packet of information to take home regarding graduation responsibilities, procedures and due dates.

     

    The packet will include:

    • Letter from principal
    • Time for graduating students to arrive at Lee College
    • Graduation picture information
    • Map of available parking lots

    DON'TS:

    The following items should NOT be brought to the ceremony:

    • Air Horns
    • Artificial Noise Makers
    • Balloons
    • Glass Vases
    • Signs
    • Banners
    • Outside food or beverages, other than bottled water
    • Tripods

    NOTE: Please know that guests will be required to wear a face covering/mask both inside and outside the facility. Any wrapped gifts may be opened and checked by security personnel at the entry doors.

     

    DO'S:

    • Family members may arrive one hour before the ceremony.
    • Saved seats must be released 20 minutes prior to the beginning of the ceremony.
    • Wear a face covering/mask
    • Bottled water is allowed.
    • Cameras are allowed.

    Graduation Ceremonies at Ford Park Arena

    Graduation ceremonies for Ross S. Sterling, Goose Creek Memorial, and Robert E. Lee High School will be held on June 12, 2021 at the Ford Park Arena.

     

    Each school will have its own graduation ceremony at a designated time on June 12, 2021. All graduating students will meet in advance on campus at a predetermined time and be transported by bus to the Ford Park Arena.

     

    Loved ones who are unable to attend the ceremonies will be able to watch the graduation ceremonies live via the web. Goose Creek CISD will have live video footage of the graduation ceremonies available at www.gccisd.net.

    In late April, graduating seniors will receive a packet of information to take home regarding graduation responsibilities, procedures and due dates.

    • Time for graduating students to arrive on campus the day of graduation
    • Maps, directions, available parking lots, etc.

     

    Students:

     

    • All graduating students will be riding GCCISD buses from their home campus to the Ford Park Arena.
    • Students must arrive on campus at a designated time per the principal.
    • Students should arrive on campus appropriately dressed for the ceremony. Caps and gowns will be put on at the Ford Park Arena.
    • Cell phones are prohibited during the ceremony.

     

    Family Members:

     

    • A ticket will be required for entrance into Ford Park Arena. Graduates will distribute tickets in advance to a designated number of guests.
    • The use of a face covering/mask is strongly encouraged.
    • Family members may begin arriving one hour prior to the ceremony.
    • Wear comfortable shoes for walking. Close parking is limited.
    • Food, drinks, gifts, balloons, noise makers, banners, and posters should be left at home.

    The following items are NOT allowed in Ford Park Arena:

    • Air Horns
    • Artificial Noise Makers
    • Balloons
    • Tripods
    • Outside Food or Beverages
    • Weapons of any kind
    • Any other items deemed unsafe by Ford Park management.
    • Signs and Banners

     

    Notes:

    • Please know that wrapped gifts may be opened and checked by security personnel at the entry doors.
    • Strollers are discouraged.

     

    General Security Information

    Security personnel will use a variety of security measures to check everyone who enters Ford Park Arena. Metal detectors will be placed at the entrance to Ford Park Arena and all bags are subject to be searched.
