Registration Process
Step One: Complete online registration.
Registration for the 2026-2027 school year opens in April.
Step Two: Attend an in-person registration event.

You must bring copies of the following documents to one of the in-person registration events:

  • Registration Confirmation
  • Parent Identification (TDL, ID, or Passport)
  • Birth Certificate for Child
  • Social Security Card for Child (if available)
  • Immunization Record (must be current)
  • Proof of Residency (current water, gas, electric bill or lease agreement)
  • Proof of Income
    • Must have four consecutive paychecks with the last one being March/April. If you receive TANF or SNAP, must have your current notice of eligibility letter.

Additional Required Documentation for Qualifying Categories
Students receive free pre-kindergarten based on the below qualifiers determined by TEA. Please review the required documentation for each qualifying category listed below.

  • One of the following

     

    • Current paycheck stub
    • Current tax return if self-employed
    • Current TANF or SNAP eligibility letter

     

    Income Qualifier Chart

    • Verification of U.S. Department of Defense photo I.D.
    • Statement of service
    • Copy of death certificate
    • Copy of Purple Heart orders
    • Copy of official letter from commander
    • Copy of a letter from US Dept. of Veteran's Affairs
    • Documentation that service member is MIA

    • Fill out Home Language Survey (provided by school)
    • Language test will be administered to the child
