Hispanic Outreach Initiative
Más Que Palabras

We build welcoming bridges between Goose Creek CISD and Spanish-speaking families through clear communication, practical resources, and joyful, culturally relevant events.

Our Mission

Más que palabras—more than words—we empower Hispanic families through language access, cultural inclusion, and community connection. Together, we nurture meaningful participation in education and celebrate the rich traditions that make our schools stronger, more united, and more vibrant.

Our Committee

The Hispanic Outreach Committee is made up of 11 dedicated members who meet monthly to strengthen family engagement and plan community-centered initiatives. Their main event, Día del Niño, celebrates children and families through culture, joy, and togetherness. The 2024 Día del Niño event was recognized as the Best Special Event in the State of Texas by the Texas School Public Relations Association (TSPRA).
