Innovative Teaching Grants:

The Goose Creek Independent School District Education Foundation has been created to support educational excellence that will enhance student achievement by providing funds for educational programs and activities which have either not been funded or have been under-funded by the normal operating budget.

The Innovative Teaching Grant Program is designed to recognize and encourage staff excellence, as well as to reward creative instructional approaches to the accomplishment of program objectives. These grants are awarded to teachers, teams of teachers, principals, directors and staff who are involved with the direct instruction of students.

The funds for these grants are possible because of the contributions from and the support of the community, individuals, civic organizations, and businesses. The first grants funded by the Goose Creek CISD Education Foundation were awarded in May 2010.
