Student Registration Information

Goose Creek CISD Families,
 
Goose  Creek CISD plans to begin the 2020-2021 school year September 8, 2020, with three weeks of virtual instruction. 

Students New to Goose Creek CISD:

All new students must register in Back to School Registration and upload all the required documents to complete the process.
 
The following documents will be needed to complete the enrollment process

  • Parent identification (TDL, ID, or Passport)
  • Birth certificate (Child)
  • Social Security Card (Child) if available
  • Immunization record (Must be current for Pre-K)
  • Proof of residency (current water, gas, electric bill, or lease agreement)
  • Pre-K Only - Proof of income (must have four consecutive paychecks with the last one being April.  If you receive TANF or SNAP must have your current Notice of Eligibility Letter)

 
Returning Students:
All returning students must complete the online registration and upload the most recent proof of residency in Back to School Registration on the Goose Creek CISD website at www.gccisd.net. You will not be registered for school until this is completed. Acceptable forms of proof of residency are:

  • Current Water Bill
  • Gas Bill
  • Electric Bill
  • Lease Agreement

 

If you previously went into Parent Portal on the district website and selected virtual instruction, your child will continue to receive virtual instruction after the first three weeks. If you did not choose the virtual option, your child will be enrolled in the hybrid phase-in plan after the first three weeks, which consists of a combination of face-to-face as well as virtual instruction. To change your decision, you must contact the campus.

 

The deadline to change your child’s model of instruction is August 25, 2020. After this date, changes may be made only after each grading period.

 

Important Information About iPads:

We are extending our 1:1 iPad program to include junior school students. Parents of junior school students need to complete the iPad Loan Agreement in Back to School Registration on our website to check out an iPad.

Parents of elementary students who need an iPad for instruction must access Back to School Registration on the district website and fill out the iPad Loan Agreement.
