Coaches Recognized for Receiving State Honors

John Tremmel (second from right), Ross S. Sterling High School head tennis coach, is recognized at a recent meeting of the Goose Creek CISD Board of Trustees for receiving the Ike Groce Vision Award from the Texas Tennis Coaches Association. The award is presented to the coach who demonstrates a clear vision for his team, players and program. Soccer Coach William Freeman poses with award

 

William Freeman (second from right), head boys soccer coach at Goose Creek Memorial High School, is congratulated at a recent meeting of the Goose Creek CISD Board of Trustees for being named the 2019 Texas Association of Soccer Coaches (TASCO) Region III Boys Soccer Coach of the Year. Freeman’s teams advanced to the Regional Finals in 2016 and 2019 as well as to Bi-District Finals in 2017 and 2018.
