Giant Alumnus of the Month

Meet our Giant Alumnus of the Month for December 2020, sponsored by Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital, Brandon Allport Altillo. Brandon graduated from Sterling in 2004 and continued his education at Rice University and Baylor College of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at Jackson Memorial in Miami, Florida. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Pediatrics. Brandon serves as a primary care internist and pediatrician for Lone Star Circle of Care while acting as an assistant professor at Dell Medical School at the University of Texas. “He has worked tirelessly in trying to strengthen the primary care system where resources are very limited. He has promoted primary care access and utilization in underserved areas of the population, and because of his training with both pediatrics and adult primary care, he has tried to bridge the gap in service.”
